 Messolonghi – the lagoon and its inhabitants

Rivers, marshes,farmland, amazing coast line,uninhabited small islands with remarkable and rare ecosystems make the National Park of Messolonghi very important for the preservation and variety of life in the Mediterranean. (Natura 2000 network)

As a photography destination is diverse and super exciting for number of interests….. flora and amazing fauna, magical Greek light reflecting in the abundant waters, glamorous sunset and sunrise, captivating  Greek blues….in the sky and sea, open views, as well as dwellings on the wetlands or in the very interesting small towns in the surrounding area.

We have small weekly groups flying to Athens with an overnight stay in central Athens and then either three hour drive directly to Messolonghi or via Delphi with a stop at the…oracle, a must do cultural visit!

Sunday to Saturday (however flexible as well as bespoke)
