8 day tour
This tour is ideal if you want to mix up urban exploration and sightseeing with lounging by the sea. The Lefka Ori (mountain) provides a dramatic backdrop to the city’s stunning Venetian architecture and bustling market. There is much to explore and photograph in the old town with the Venetian harbour, iconic lighthouse (one of the oldest in Europe), and the cobbled alleyways, courtyards, cafés and tavernas. The Ottoman influences are captured in the Mosque by the port and the two minarets which will add spice to your pictures.
Cretan food is one of Greece’s most distinctive regional cuisines. Excellent local produce and healthy ingredients lift its fame to the first ranks among the healthiest diets in the world.

Sunset Stroll
Arrive in Chania around 1 pm, check into our hotel and relax while getting to know the group.
Dinner will be down in the Old Port followed by a sunset stroll at the lighthouse.
Meet the locals
A walk up to the old tannery and abandoned leather production district of town for a spot of urban decay exploration. There are supposed to be ghosts there too, so make sure you get your cameras set in 'undead' mode.
Lunch at Oxo Nou, a dance and creative art space and café, overlooking the beach and the tanneries.
After lunch we will have a relaxed afternoon with the option to go swimming and get ready for the golden hour in the old buildings.
Dinner will be in one of the fantastic tavernas after which we head back to the hotel.
Sunrise
Experience the sunrise at the lighthouse in the old port, coffees down at the harbour, then back to the hotel for breakfast and a time to recover from the early start.
Lunch will be taken at the old covered market where you will get the chance to try and buy some of the delicious local delicacies produced here.
Then a relaxing stroll down on the coast at Nea Chora to soak up the beach vibe, late afternoon sun and fishing boats.
Dinner will be in one of the tavernas followed by a drink in the local bars.
Mountain Villages
A drive up into the mountain villages to explore and experience traditional village life.
Lunch will be in a traditional mountain style restaurant.
The afternoon will be spent taking in the stunning mountain scenery which will culminate in watching the sunset.
Drive to Elafonisi
Drive to Elafonisi, lots to photograph and explore from beaches to monasteries, this beautiful and rugged area is an absolute bounty for adventure seekers.
Street Market
Today we will head to Chania's street market then up to Malaxiana to meet Katerina and Dminitris and their amazing space for our cooking experience and to unwind with good people and good food.
Trip to Akrotiri
Trip to Akrotiri to see the monastic wine production and religious architecture.
Sunset at at the top of Halepa will finish off our last day with our last night spent in Chania.
