This was an excellent trip with Chryssie. We first explored Thessaloniki, including the waterfront, markets, ancient monasteries, and Byzantine churches. Then we traveled by car to Chalkidiki for several days of beaches, authentic old Greek villages, and a boat trip to Mount Athos and its monasteries. Throughout the trip, the food was amazing, thanks in great measure to Chryssie being a native and having a way with people. Although this was not a photography tour, when you spend time with Chryssie, you always encounter wonderful photographic opportunities.
